This report presents the definitions of food loss throughout Europe (EU & Switzerland, Norway, Great Britain and Iceland) that were identified through the FOLOU data collection process. The identified definitions are categorised and analysed by the sector of issue (governmental, scientific etc.), their terminology, as well as the level of comprehensive information they enclose.
