At the FOOD 2030 NETWORKS Conference in Brussels, BETA technological centre, PROMAN, Espigoladors, IMPACT, and ACR+ gathered to explore Transformative Food System Innovation. The event featured enriching plenary sessions and breakout rooms, providing a space for in-depth discussions and knowledge exchange.
The first day kicked off with workshops aimed at fostering collaboration among projects with shared objectives in transforming the food system. During the breakout session themed ‘Reducing food loss and waste across the food value chain’, Joan Colon Jorda from BETA technological centre presented the FOLOU project. Participants engaged in fruitful discussions, exchanging insights on collaboration challenges and proposing strategies for improvement.
The second day centered around a Platform for Innovators, bringing together living labs and innovators to explore synergies and share experiences. This collaborative environment encouraged the exchange of valuable insights, further fueling innovation in the food systems domain.
