Food loss and waste (FLW) remains a significant challenge across the European Union, with serious consequences for the environment, economy, and food security. Recognizing the need for a united approach, FOLOU joined forces with three other EU-funded projects—SISTERS, BREADCRUMB, and ROSETTA—to highlight their collective efforts in reducing food loss at the agricultural level.
In a joint blog post, the projects showcase how their innovative solutions and collaborative actions are addressing FLW comprehensively, from awareness-raising to practical interventions. By working together, these initiatives are strengthening the impact of European research and helping to create more sustainable food systems.
