      YPARD mission is to enable and empower young agricultural leaders to shape sustainable food systems, through which they can express their ideas and realize their full potential in the area of Agriculture and Rural Development. Its vision is: A food secure world without poverty where young people are enabled to contribute fully. YPARD connects young global experts to share, learn, and solve future agri-food challenges together. YPARD Albania is part of this global network under YPARD Europe. 

      • On-going activities related to Food Loss: 

        We have not yet organized our own activities related to food loss, but we have participated in various activities on this topic organized by other projects.  

        • Drivers  for participating in the FOLOU TWRP 

          By participating in the FOLOU TWRP in Module 5: The FOLOW Sustainability Tool and Module 6: The FOLOU Learning Centre, we expect to gain essential tools and knowledge to effectively tackle food loss and promote sustainability. Through these modules, we aim to develop structured methods for assessing the environmental, economic, and social impacts of food loss, contributing to data-driven policy development and strategic decision-making. Through the training provided we expect to enhance capacity building through expert-led courses, including certified programs, while also facilitating knowledge exchange through case studies and best practices. Additionally, we look forward to opportunities for networking and collaboration with stakeholders, policy makers, and industry experts, fostering a shared approach to food loss reduction.
