From 17 to 20 June 2025, FOLOU partner UNIVPM participated in the 26th ASPA Congress in Turin, Italy. We are proud to share some exciting news from the event!
UNIVPM researcher Matteo Zarantoniello received the Best Poster Award for his outstanding work within the FOLOU project:
“Reducing food losses by developing an automated hatching system prototype for early-stage embryos of rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss)”
This award recognizes the value of innovative approaches in aquaculture and sustainable animal production. Matteo’s contribution marks a significant step toward reducing early-stage losses in fish farming through automation and technological advancement.
