This year’s Transformative governance for food systems and biodiversity took place on 3 December 2025 in Copenhagen under the Danish Presidency of the European Union. Organized by the University of Copenhagen, CLEVERFOOD, IPBES Denmark, and the Danish Ministry of Green Transition, the event brought together more than 350 participants from 31 countries, representing research, politics, industry, and civil society. The conference was part of the broader FOOD2030 Networks Conference (2–4 December 2025), linking discussions on sustainable food systems and biodiversity with the wider FOOD2030 initiative.
FOLOU partner PROMAN took part actively in the discussions and workshops during the conference. The project was represented with a poster highlighting the aims and achievements of the project at the FOOD 2030 Networks side event on December 2nd 2025.
These days pointed out the multiple challenges ahead of us on the way towards sustainable food systems but also underlined the power of exchange between all actors around the table, as well as of knowledge, experiences and motivations to drive that transition together.
